From Wildlife Stories: \u201cRhino Mother & Young Calf\u201d<\/span><\/strong> In the late afternoon, we came across a rhino mother with her young calf. They moved quietly through the open landscape and stayed close to each other. It was a peaceful and special moment to experience in the wild. The following year, I returned to the same area and, to my great delight, found them again.
\nThe calf had grown considerably and had now matured into a strong young rhinoceros, but the bond between mother and calf was still clearly visible. This time, I found them enjoying one of the simple pleasures of life in the wild together\u2014cooling off in a mud wallow.
\nThe scene offered wonderful opportunities to capture their natural behavior and the evolving relationship between the mother and her growing calf. The fact that I saw them again a year later made the encounter even more special. It reminded me that returning to the same places can reveal a whole new chapter in an animal\u2019s life.<\/p>\n
