Discover the Lioness & Lion Meeting at Botlierskop Collection – on Dibond & Forex

During a short stop to drink and stretch our legs, we enjoyed a small sundowner—unfortunately without the sun. Just then we heard it: a lion’s powerful roar echoing across the plains, calling out for the mate he hadn’t seen in weeks. We had spotted this male earlier on our journey, but now his distant calls carried over the landscape, filled with longing for his companion.

We quickly finished our sundowner and set off immediately to search for her.

Following the tracks in the sand and careful not to disturb the surroundings, we eventually found the female resting nearby. As she rose and began moving toward him, we quietly followed alongside, capturing each step and every glance.
