From Wildlife Stories: ‘The Awakening Tiger Waterhole Collection’ During an early morning safari in the famous Bandhavgarh National Park, we were lucky enough to discover a sleeping Bengal tiger, hidden in the dense bush. Patiently, we waited as the tiger rested peacefully in its natural habitat.

After some time, the tiger slowly woke up. He stretched, emerged from the thicket and impressively crossed the safari route. He then walked purposefully to a nearby watering hole, where he first quenched his thirst before taking a refreshing bath in the cool water.

It was a wonderful moment to observe this majestic predatory cat so closely. The tiger visibly enjoyed the water and remained relaxed in the watering hole for some time. Then he quietly got up, continued his way through the landscape of Bandhavgarh and finally disappeared again among the dense bushes.
